intro

I graduated with the Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction at Depaul University. This study
prepares students to design, implement, and evaluate computer interfaces so they are accessible and
easy for people to use. This interdisciplinary degree integrates concepts and methods from computer
science, graphic design and the social sciences to provide a comprehensive understanding of the user-
centered design process.

The skills I obtain:
• Carry out the full user-centered design process
• Conduct usability tests
• Research users and their tasks
• Create the information architecture for a web site or complex application
• Develop working prototypes of dynamic web sties

User Experience is always around our life, such as by surfing the Internet. In some particular cases the
user experience is good, when the information is found quickly and effectively without special effort for
the user side. In some cases the experience is frustrating and exhausting because the information is not
organized clearly or difficult to find and read. Sometimes the websites are not standard in the way they
are programmed and therefore not tailored or suited to people with special needs and disabilities.

Technology is changing rapidly all over the world. Users today are provided with data and services through
mobile devices that add a new and different user experience equally important.

An expert in the fields of User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI) and Web Accessibility will make sure that
Organizations build and create Web Sites, Mobile Applications and Web Services that are easy to operate, to
access and will be suitable for people with special needs. The UX / UI / Web Accessibility expert easy will work
with the management and well as with the development teams of the organization to establish and ensure
the organization’s high level of usability and accessibility.
